Rogers Cup

Photo by Kyle Tsui via Flickr with thanks.
It's been a hard week for the organisers of the Rogers Cup ATP 1000. Rain delays, withdrawals, early exits by big names. Djokovic, with many points to defend has wearily dragged himself into the semis where he faces his wee pal Tipsy.
Now we have reached the semi finals, will there be an unfamiliar name on the trophy this year? Has Djoko got enough in the tank? John Hovis is going to make a bold prediction and go for big John Isner. John Hovis thinks that Djoko is too leg weary to win the tournament. Gasquet will choke, letting big John through the draw. John Hovis can also see Tipsy upsetting his big pal in the semi. Don't bet your house on it, unless you really dislike your house.
This could turn out to be an exciting end to the tournament. I'll be watching in my pants. The tournament deserves support after the pointlessness of olympic tennis, after all, the ATP tour and the slams are what men's tennis is all about.
